As Wedding Photographers we are always concentrating on “that shoot” and not so much on what happens in the years after. All our work goes into the images from that day and then we move onto the next one. In fact, the wedding day is only the very start of a (hopefully) lifelong journey, with many stories to tell. So, we want to do some work with those who are already married and get them back in front of the camera. What we want to do, is a photoshoot with 50 different couples as well as a short video interview with each one. Ideally, the photoshoot will be at the same place each couple was married at, and we will try to recreate an image from your album.
How it works
1. There will be 50 photoshoots available, 1 for each anniversary, so that is a photoshoot for a couple who have been married for 1 year, another for a couple married 2 years and so on right up to the 50-year mark.
2. Each couple will receive digital copies of the images, with one of those printed at 10x8 size.
3. This is open to couples in the North East of England and photoshoots will be in that area. A few studio shoots are possible, but these are very limited. If possible, we will try to recreate one of your wedding photos at the location of your wedding.
4. Each photoshoot will end with a short video interview when each couple will be asked a few questions regarding their marriage, things like “How did you meet?” “Do you remember the first thing you said to each?”
5. The photo shoots don’t have to be on your actual anniversary.
6. You must be willing to allow us to share your photos and stories.
